Gaspare Russo, the known associate of the Fiore Crime Family and Capo of the Santa Marina Crew

 

LOS SANTOS, ON THE UPRISE

Gaspare Russo was real determined with his business, he got obsessed with the system and with the lifestyle that he had detained for himself. A lifestyle where he called the shots, where he told the others what to do, not the other way around. It has been a few years and by this time he already had some associates with him, from which he could develop a small crew of wiseguys, which he called the Santa Maria Crew. He knew the structure of the regular crime organization and the ranking system. A full grown Crime Family had the Boss and an Underboss as the family and they had separate groups in the family, which were runned by Capos, which Gaspare got promoted to after staying loyal to his associates in the Fiore Crime Family for a long period of time. He made moves with just a few of his associates, slowly starting to indimate and tax the other businesses from around the area, since he had to get the money moving and profit had to come from somewhere. Even though extortion was one of the main profit sources for him, he didin't stop there. More taxes that got laid down on businesses, more people wanted to make their way in his crew, either for protection or just wanted to make sure they would be on the right side of things, so he wouldn't tax their businesses. Either way, Gaspare knew that the crew was rising up and they had to start taking out more ways of making money, expand.

 

He set up a crew with some of the most loyal and brightest men he had in the crew, who would run the drug trafficking business. After a few weeks, everything went smooth and Gaspare was earning good cash over the days, until he got hungry for more and more. Eventually they switched up from smuggling a few packs of grass to transporting a few trucks a day of heroin. They were under observation and they were aware, but once they started to switch up their regular routine and as the quantities got bigger, they attracted ther wrong attention.

 

LOS SANTOS, THE ARREST

Gaspare was just enjoying his morning coffee outside the diner with one of the guys. They were discussing about the profits and the overall system of how everything is going, which Gaspare was pleased with. He had the money, now all he needed was the power, because at the beginning he always felt like he didn't get recognized enough. As they were speaking, Gaspare heard tires squeeling and that's when he knew something wasn't right. Gaspare ran as fast as he could, but couldn't manage to get away, since they blocked his route on the way out of there. Even though he was under strict observation by the feds, they only could charge him with a possession of an illegal firearm, which was found at the diner. The crew got disbanded after the bust and the one's that just heard aboout the bust, they would either skip town or just find new ways to make money - it's all in rotation.
